Why I don't see backup files?

Hi everyone, I did backup with whm/cpanel but I only files in folder via SSH, when logged into cpanel with an username, I didn't see those backup files via cpanel control interface. Why? how to correct this?

Maybe you did it from whm so that file permissions are still in root username, you need to make chown command to change it to the username where the account belongs to.

chown -R username.username /home/path_to_backup_folder/*

if you have a paid cpanel license, ask for support through their support center. you get more appropiate advice & answer from their in-house tech .
