How do you choose a WordPress theme?

Hi, everyone!

It seems to me that most of the people find it difficult to choose the perfect theme for their WordPress-based website. It was hard for me, too. Choosing a theme is the same as choosing site design. Each theme has its own features, which usually can be seen before downloading it. It all depends on what site will be used for. If it is a simple site for showing contacts for a firm, then a simple minimalistic theme is best. If the site should be representing a product, then the theme can be more complex.
Of course, nowadays I would always recommend choosing a theme that is already responsive on all devices.

Usually, I choose a Wordpress theme with complete features, such as :

mobile friendly
fast loading
responsive design
update regularly from theme developer
supporting your business model

And many more features that might be useful to optimise.
