Hello,
I just want to choose basic vps plan from either Vultr, Ramnode or F(x) Data Cloud (US Locations). I'll be hosting just a wordpress site with vestacp control panel. As OVH disk I/o performance is below par, so i am not mentioning them. It is the cheap plans from which i am looking for, cheap i meant by the price as my requirements are less for the moment.

F(x) Data Cloud - For $ 1.99 / Month
0.5 GB Memory, 1 Core Processor, 10 GB SSD

Vultr: For $2.50 / Month
512 MB Ram, 1 CPU, 20 GB SSD

Ramnode OpenVZ SSD - $3.5 / mo
1024 / 256 MB RAM, 1 Core, 40 GB

Kindly suggest me the better performing host please.
Thanks.

For a website only, you should sart with a shared hosting is enough. It will require less configurations and time to manage your hosting, you can use that for developing your website.

You should first start with the basic shared hosting plan if there is no traffic on your website then upgrade to advance shared hosting plan once the traffic has increased and then move to VPS if shared hosting is not able to handle the traffic. :)

256 MB RAM or 512 MB Ram is very small to run with a hosting panel like cPanel. What control panel will you use on this VPS? or are you going to install LAMP stack?

I'm curious to find out what plugin you are struggling to get working on a shared hosting.

What were the allocated resources on the shared plan such as Memory, CPU and I/O? Keep in mind that Wordpress is I/O heavy and most shared hosting plans are limited to a low I/O allowance. Otherwise a decent shared hosting plan should be able to run various plugins without any issues.

Have you tried reaching out to their support team regarding the issue?

Its unlikely that a shared hosting plan would have problems loading WP Plugins, unless its a high traffic site or there is an issue with the plugin.

If you choose to go with a VPS get a plan with additional resources (2 GB ram and above), the basic plans with 512Mb ram would be enough for the minimal system requirements of VestaCP and maybe to host a few light low traffic websites.
