Cloudflare vs Sucuri

We've heard for Cloudflare, lot of use use it.
But, what about Sucuri?
Does anyone have experience with it ?
Is Cloudflare better than Sucuri and if so, why ?
How they compare in crucial stuff like speed, storage, reliability?

We have quite a few customers using both, Sucuri is more anti-virus focused and they tend to up-sell virus scans / cleanup etc and the CDN is a bit secondary where-as cloudflare is just more or less CDN focused.

We've had customers that used Sucuri and while their virus/malware removal services have been great, there have been a couple incidents over the past few years that have steered me away from using them for a CDN. It's been a year and a half since these incidents happened but there were multiple customers, who all used Sucuri's CDN, that were all having problems at the exact same time. Sucuri was absolutely no help and denied there was a problem. Then magically roughly 24 hours later everything was fine again for everyone.

Could be much better now, who knows. Just having a couple incidents within a few months where they didn't have any explanation at all or could even admit there was a problem kind of pushed me away from using them for CDN services.

Sucuri is primarily focused on the security of the website/blacklist monitoring etc services whereas Cloudflare works pretty well in the CDN area.

Cloudflare offers a free plan for CDN which is not a case with Sucuri.

This bundle doesn't include the website application firewall so that your website is not properly protected against to those powerful attackers. In order to protect more your website, you need to apply to their Pro plan which is $20 up to $200/month for a better security. Unlike CloudFlare, Sucuri doesn't have a free plan. It means that you have to pay for their services, their complete package plan is just $199/year. This includes all securities you need in order to protect your website.

Malware Removal Service:
A short explanation will do this. If you avail the plan that Sucuri offers, it would be a great choice for you compare to the plan that CloudFlare offers. Sucuri bundle will give you the best security you need.

Overall: Sucuri will be the best choice

For a CDN, I'm much more comfortable using CloudFlare whereas Sucuri is very good at scanning and identifying malware.
