CentOS Web Panel - Web Hosting Account Management

Hi guys,

How many of you have tried and used CentOS Web Panel (CWP)? After testing and experimenting it for a month, HC has added it as an alternative to cPanel to all types of IT Hosting services and Cloud instances and I can tell you it is a good server automation panel. Many of our clients are happy to save some money on their monthly bill. If you haven't tired it, do that.

I tried CentOS Web Panel 2 years ago and after I installed it on a VPS, I had to upgrade Mysql and PHP version to higher version, that is not impresses me more thus I went for a paid hosting panel as cPanel and Plesk.
What will your team support for this hosting panel if I use it on your hosting?

Hello Hostcolor,

I have tried it again on a vps few weeks ago, and I agree about the fact there was some improvements with the last releases, especially with the new interface design, better than previous one.
I'm also following CWP youtube channel and they have published a lot of videos tutorials for their control panel.
But in my opinion, free control panels are always between two worlds :

- paid control panel like Plesk & cPanel, with more features, regular updates and technical support for few $ per month
- and setting up a server by following a good tutorial, or with tools like Centminmod or EasyEngine.

All clients are looking for zero downtime on their websites/servers, but they are also looking to save money. And those two things are not compatible in my opinion.

No doubt. CWP is one of the best control panels and we (24x7servermanagement) have helped out many CWP users with the installation, configuration and migration-related issues.
