Hello guys, I just want to know you opinion about the difference between a web designer and web developer. Please, don't search on Google, or cheating others' replies to answer this. There's no wrong answer, because I just want to know what is in your head about the differences between them. Let's have fun here!

Yes I agree, will not search Google and here is my opinion about the difference between a Web Designer and Web Developer

A Web Designer = Designing a website template/theme/styles

A Web Developer = Developing existed website cms by adding functions/parts/custom codes for it.

Web designer works on frontend of your site look that is he will select the layout, template, fonts, everything related to user interface. Logo, colors, fonts etc. is selected by him and using all those he design.

We developer works on basically on back end, functionality. He writes code, script. One example I can provide here is, if web-designer has designed the contact form then web-developer will actual write code and script for sending the emails through the contact forms.

I think, it will clear the difference.

Few years ago we use to say that Apple products first were designed, then coded. While Microsoft products, first were developed by engineers, and then the designers tried to do the best they can to clean up the mess and make them a little bit more pretty...

Se, i think one complement the other. We need UI designers (usually web designers) to keep things KISS (Keep Simple and stupid) so that everybody understands, but we also need to developers so that the "things" work and are not only beautiful things...

Hello!as far as I know,a web designer prepares web content,the style and appearance of content pages, including texts and images.Web designers use many technologies, but they usually rely on hypertext and hypermedia resources,such as HTML,CSS.
The Web developer is a programmer who creates programs and applications for the World Wide Web,he knows how to build a web site from scratch.
web development includes:
-client scripting
-database technology.

A web designer is a person skilled in design and likewise proficient in markup and styleup languages, html and css. He uses his graphics design skills to create mock-ups of webpages with tools as Photoshop and illustrator. He can then create a bareborn frameworks of the mock-ups. A developer on the other hand is the programmer that is proficient in his stack and can create either of front-end or back-end of a website using his stack.

Well, Web Developing has two big sub-categories: Back-end and Front-end. The back-end focuses on the server-side of a site while the front-side is mainly for the markup and scripting. The web designer is the person who creates the user experience (most of the time together with a front-end developer) and develops the layout of a website.

Hi! For me, Web Designer focuses more on the front end side. Its primary concern is how to make the user experience amazing upon using the site, and how things are going to be put into proper places. Web Developer on the other hand, is a broader task. For me it is both Front-end and Back-end. How the site would look like, the logic behind events/actions in the platform, and how the interface will communicate with the server, these things fall under Web development.
