hi guys,

I bought a domain name in google and was trying to host it in hostinger.co.uk. These are the steps I took.
1. Changed the default google name server to ns1.hostinger.co.uk, ns2.hostinger.co.uk, ns3.hostinger.co.uk and ns4.hostinger.co.uk.
2. Waited 24 hours and uploaded my website files to hostinger.co.uk using filezlla.
I try typing my url in the browser and it doesn't work. It says DNS server could not be found. It feels like I am missing something. What tells hostinger that I own that website? Should I do something more with my settings in google? Should the ftp ip address which i received from hostinger go somewhere in google dns settings? I have not touched anything in google domain settings except the name servers. There are other options like DNSSEC, Registered Hosts, Synthetic records and Custom resource records which I have not touched.
Any help would be appreciated. thank you

Hello diddlydoo, use WhatMyDNS to check if your nameservers are properly set, and if there an A records for your domain.
