I have a website and I done on page and off page activities, but still I am not getting proper traffic. Please suggest me how can I increase my website traffic?

Well, aside from building interesting articles and original ones. Don't forget to share your site to communities that are relevant to your niche. You'll have decent audience and returning traffic if you're content is good.

Do a proper research of keyword. I think if you select right keywords than you will become happy about the traffic. If your website content is 100% unique and SEO keyword based- than proper keyword selection cna give you additional 85% traffic. Analyze meta keyword section and add some important keywords.

There are number of ways for getting traffic on your website
1. Start SMM (Social Media Marketing) for your website.
2. Do proper content analysis
3. Do more off page techniques such as blog comments, forum posting , quora answers and all.
4. Check all meta tags properly. These should be completely optimized

Guest posting can be an awesome way to gain traffic. On top of that, as others have mentioned, there are social media. Finally, of course, you can always buy ads on Facebook, Google, and Bing. However, though, you need to beware of cheap traffic companies. Note that you can usually spot them by thier incredibly low prices and methods, like pop-unders.

Oh, by the way, there is also forum signatures as a method. In fact, some have found them so incredibly useful that they even buy signature links.

Advertising is of course a no-brainer. Use social media. Use headlines that stand out and use relevant key words. Research for other ways to increase your traffic. There's lots of ways to increase your traffic.

Oh, there is always off-line advertising. In fact, I heard on some ad that newspapers are still widely read (though that statement sounds sort of cheesy. :rolleyes2: ) In that case, you simply put the name of your domain, or the redirected domain, to your website. However, though, like with online ads, it's going to cost you.

Anyway, has anyone considered off-line ads and of what variety? Note, besides newspapers, you have trading post style papers, magazines, billboards etc..

If you have some money to spend then I suggest learning about Facebook Ads. You can get some decent traffic to your website using that. It can also target proper audience and you can even measure the outcome. Compared to Google adwords, it seems facebook ads are being preferred by many small business and bloggers. So you can definitely try them. Apart from that Adwords ads can bring traffic as well. If you are low or have no money, in that case I suggest going through social media groups and pages promotion. That way you'd have some consistent traffic. Email marketing is also one more area to look into.

I know that utilizing great key words is essential for increasing activity to our site. Also, I have found luck in networking, of course--I link other blogs to mine that are similar in interest and aesthetic, and then they tend to link me, as well, and this increases my traffic a good deal. Although you can look at these other blogs as competition, they can still help you expand your circle of influence.
