Billing system ideas?

I tried many different billing systems for hosting, even tried to develop my own, until I came across WHMCS - this is definitely the most advanced system at the moment.

WHMCS is the "standard" when it goes for hosting - as others have mentioned you can use ClientExec / Blesta and there are a few others too. My personal preference is WHMCS but you may find that CE and Blesta are slightly cheaper.

WHMCS is solid, but there are other great options like Blesta and HostBill. It depends on your needs and budget.

Honestly, if you’re on WordPress, you don’t need a separate billing platform just grab a plugin. For most stores, WooCommerce (with the official 2Checkout and PayPal gateways and the Subscriptions add‑on if you need recurring billing) handles everything on‑site. If you’re in hosting and want a full‑blown client portal, WHMCS (via the WHMCS Bridge plugin) or Blesta both integrate nicely so users never leave your WP theme. But for straightforward invoicing/payments, something like Sprout Invoices or WP‑Invoice will let you bill directly from WordPress without redirects.
