Paid advertising for your hosting business?

I am up to 40 post on this forum so you would know It is now 41, customers for small hosting companies are few and hard to come by, big companies get 10,000 signups per month, so you can see not much left over for small providers, then as soon as small providers get 50 clients the run to sell off for highest bidder, and start over, long term it dose not pay as just one customer can running you in the grown, with bad reviews while you may spend 250 per month, customer from your competition will spend $2.5 and post all kinds of bad stuff about they not working website script they are using to give you bad reviews.

How could you track your visitors came from which source? Forums or Facebook? or how did you know the visitors bought your services came from Facebook?

Agreed, the audience on Facebook is pretty common and web hosting field is not a good niche to advertise on FB.

I prefer to do free SEO methods after that pay for ads , because after AD Expiration you will lose your website's traffic.

I've done facebook ads with no success at all and paid forum advertising with some success. Webmaster forums are one good way to get some sales.
