How to start/stop iptables on Ubuntu?

I tried to start/stop the iptables service on Ubuntu but it didn't work like I did on CentOS

Code:

service iptables stop

and it was giving me an error "unrecognized service".

What are the commands to start/stop the iptables service on Ubuntu? Is there any other method?

Following command to reloads firewall and enables firewall on boot

sudo ufw enable

To disable the firewall

sudo ufw disable

Check Status

sudo ufw status

Reset Firewall (Everything)

sudo ufw reset

Rreload / restart iptables service command

sudo ufw reload
