Hi there, I'm new to web design and development. I was wondering what browser you all use for your web projects and for web development. Is Chrome is the best browser for web development or Firefox is a better one?

I think Chrome or Firefox are both excellent for development, both have many addons/extensions for developers.

I've always been a Chrome guy myself :D

I use Chrome.

However, don't forget to check your pages in all modern/popular browsers. It can be surprising how differently some browsers will display some pages (Especially Internet Explorer!!!!)

I have tried almost all modern web browsers available (FireFox, Chrome, Opera, Edge) , and currently the best I have found is Yandex Browser.
Some features :
- Extensions available by default : LastPass, Ad-blocker, lightshot, Pocket etc ...
- DNSCrypt client included (no more DNS Spoofing or slow resolver)
- Multi-devices tab and content sync

I prefer the SRWare Iron web browser. It's a chromium based browser like what the Google Chrome browser and many others are based on. It's a lot faster than the Google Chrome browser because it doesn't have all the junk that Google puts in theirs. It also uses all the Google Chrome extensions and themes which is nice also.

Thank you for sharing this browser. I have never used this one but it looks promising and it's a chromium based browser like many others are based on so that's a plus. I am always looking for new browsers since I usually have 3-4 open at one time for many purposes.

I'll download this on and give it a go. Nice share, thanks.

Personally I don't know from experience which browser is the best for web development but based on what my college professor is having everyone in his web development class it's google chrome. He says that it's the best and easiest for web development tasks.

This depends on what you are developing but any good developer will recommend both google chrome and Firefox.

Best of luck with whatever you are working on friend!!

in my experience, Firefox is the best for web development. It includes the best browser tools, in my opinion. Chrome isn't bad though, and it really comes down to personal preference.
