Do you use a third party support service? to cover 24 hours a day 7 days a week or do you only have live support certain hours?
I personally don't like third party support services. I think it is important to have people on a dedicated team that fully understand your product and service culture. Obviously many companies can't afford to hire full time employees but I think quality over quantity always prevails for support.

It all depends upon what kind of team you keep whether it's outsources or in house, you need to be selective with your team, we have outsourced in past but before finalising them we personally visited the whole team and trained them and then never had problem

Currently we don't have any outsourced team, everything is in house

Initially to cut down costing we outsourced but we choose them very care fully by personally interviewing each team member and personally training them
