Hi everyone,
I want to move all email account from cPanel on linux hosting to a new VPS (linux) and it also is using cPanel.
How can I move emails without losing its data? are there ways or tools to do this task?
All suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi @Luxin

I read the post from your link but I still can not be clear somethings

Create the same email accounts in the new cPanel as the old cPanel
Ok, it is easy to do

Copy the mail folder on the old Host server via FTP to your computer.
where is path to mail folder on my FTP? I could not find it

Copy the contents of the mail folder per step 2 above into the mail folder of the new Host.
but if new emails on new server are having new emails, then they will be overwriten by old emails if we copy old content from old folder to new folder email on new server?

Note: depending on the version of cPanel and the configuration you may also need to copy the etc folder to the new Host.
I don't understand this. what is etc folder? is it etc of root folder on hosting server?

make sure you have root access with ftp and not only to publick_html.

Why would they be overwritten? do you have the exact emails on both servers?

Yes I believe so.

This is not the highest quality video but it shows the mail path you are after and also it explains how to it via horde. (easier way)
