Hi there,

I am planning to change my hosting plan because my current hosting company only provides a limited bandwidth. As I am learning about SEO and want to increase my website traffic I need to change my hosting provider.

While searching through the internet I came across a hosting company called 1 dollar-webhosting. I was interested in their gold package which provides unlimited bandwidth. Because I am interested in hosting multiple websites I contacted their support to ask them if they can give me multiple website hosting with their gold package but I did not get any reply from them.

Another hosting company that I am interested in is hostgator.com which is quite a good company but their plans are much expensive than the 1 dollar-webhosting.

Can anyone tell me what plan will suit me if I want to host multiple websites with one hosting plan and which company is the best with minimum rates. Also what is the difference between wordpress hosting and webhosting?

I have never heard about these hosting you mentioned in your post, excluding hostgator then I left years ago.

If you want to host mutiple website with different IP, I would suggest you go with a VPS (WHM/cPanel) which you add and set any IP adresses you want on each package.

I chose one from VPS Hosting Offer section on this forum

You can find out a good one with good price that fit your requirements

It has no difference between wordpress hosting and web hosting, you can choose a normal hosting to host Wordpress sites without any problems on it.

Hope it helps!

This should be a red flag!
If they wont even answer a sales question, do you think they will be helpful when you need support?

Hostgator used to be a good host, but since they were acquired by EIG, that have gone down hill.

Take a look at the offers section here on forumweb.hosting where you can find some good deals, from quality hosts https://forumweb.hosting/vps-hosting-offers/

I want to host multiple websites with one IP
This is not hard to find. You will find many shared hosting providers that will allow you to use one account for multiple websites/domains.

Just be sure to check what the plan allows.

I would not worry too much about unlimited bandwidth. Most shared hosting account provide a very large amount of bandwidth compared to how much a few website will use. Typically, by the time you get close to your allotted bandwidth, you will also be exceeding your other allowed resources and need to upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server anyway.

What is the problem with hostagor?
You should read RDO Servers' reply.

It can help you with a shared hosting package and you can host multiple websites with one IP by using addons domains in cPanel/directadmin or some other web control panels.

Stayway from EIG company. Hostgator is going downhill day by day after sold to EIG. Now support response take 3-7 days for simple issue.

going for a shared hosting reseller would be a good choice. It gives you the option to host multiple accounts, depends on the limit the provider has for their accounts. Dedicated ip for each is also possible, so that shouldn't be an issue. A vps is also a good choice, but i'd guess that's a bit too much for what you need. Although it does give you more room to grow, so really depends on what you want for now or the near future.
