What is the best way to improve your forum alexa ranking?

I know more webmasters think it's a waste of time to increase Alexa ranking but for any reasons I still need it for my blogs.

I want mine to be under 100K. what are your strategies to get better alexa?

Getting under 100K is no small feat! Good luck :)

They say the best thing to do if you're without a budget is to get the toolbar, and to get all your friends and family to get the Alexa toolbar and to check your site out a few times a week. I've been told that many times and decided to try it myself. Went from ~10 million to below 4 million after the update.

Hi,

Ways to improve Alexa Ranking:

1. Get more traffic to your forum/blog
2. Users having Alexa Toolbar installed on their Mozilla/Chrome browser must visit your website.
3. Keep engaging more users by posting new posts.
4. Spread posts awareness through posting it on Social Networking websites.
5. More the people visit your Website, better will be Alexa Score.

I hope the above points solves your queries, feel free to ask any more questions.

I understand, it's a fun metric to look at, but that's all it is.

If you're wanting to be under 100k for advertising opportunities... you have to understand that it doesn't give you any benefit by having a better Alexa rank. Your search results will remain the same, your traffic isn't going to improve.

Spend time building connections with influencers in your industry/niche and you will see a better return on traffic and in income than you would trying to artificially influence a metric that is meaningless.

There are a lot of myths out there about how to get a better Alexa ranking, Google it and find this out.

Don't worry about the Alexa toolbar as their are a lot of myths out there about needing people using it to visit your site to help it rank better.

If you want to get your Alexa ranking improved, the easiest way that I have found is to do social media promoting and content marketing. I do this all the time and this can make a HUGE difference in your Alexa rankings. Twitter has always seemed to be the best for me, especially since you can do marketing more frequently for the same content/etc., without looking like spam.

I don't hold much value to Alexa rankings myself, but their are advertisers who do. Do some good and non-spammy social media marketing and promotion and you'll see a huge improvement.

Alexa ranking is rough estimated data of a website traffic which is not precise and accurate. Your alexa ranking will eventually increase with the increasing of your site traffic.

 Alexa rank is calculated precisely. The authority of your site in the internet is translated as your Alexa Rank. Alexa has a wide data panel consisting of millions of traffic from all over the world. In order to have a better Alexa Rank, write engaging and unique content. When visitors found your content useful, they'll share it among several networks and websites that gives you natural links. This is one of the common link building strategies.
Get links from related websites, look for websites related to yours and post to them for yourself. Remember, don't ever spam on sites! Post like you're really interested in their services and don't make them disappointed as well. Try to put your link sneaky!
Hope it helps! Good luck. :)
