Hi Forum Members,
Just a question for us to share the pros and cons of our particular business models and the challenges presented by our living (residing) in the country we are.
I am in the U.S. - Florida now from New York City originally.
When I was in NYC, I enjoyed Fiber Optics when it first became available in NYC to residential customers (Verizon).
Now in Florida, I am doing OK. I have no idea if my ISP is using FO now - I did, however, saw some tags on a road near me last year labeled Fiber Optic Cable.
I have an upgraded plan so I get great upload speeds - download is super fast and I see over 8 streams at the same time on twitch while the household is running Netflix, browsers / tablets and phones, etc. without issue.
I do frequent broadcasts and handle up to 3 congruent streams without issue. This I think is the greatest advantage I have for my business - since I do various things and need to upstream to different outlets.
So I figure the greatest advantage right now for me is being able to have powerful Internet connectivity which has enabled me to run my business with Internet seamlessly.
I will be opening up some local based assets soon, so I'll report back how the location responds to me.
