Are you? Have you tried to? What ideas do you have about this? Would you like to? What are your gaming strengths? If you could, what skills do you have that can be applied to the gaming industry or as content or service to gamers to make money?

i like gaming in terms of playing the game but actually making money off of it i think the only way would be testing games or doing some kind of affiliate or advertising method because that the only way to make money from games other than making one.

The idea is intriguing, but as fjk23 said, the only ways I can think of that you would or could get paid for this are 1) testing games for developers, 2) playing games with ads and getting a share of the revenue, 3) being paid for referring others to a game.

Game testing might be kinda fun, but the other two wouldn't be, IMHO. I can't see how a revenue sharing model would pay much, and I wouldn't want to have to recruit people to play.

I know somebody who made money "boosting" others in World Of Warcraft. He was kind of "coaching" them to get them leveled up.
Earned crazy money with it, about $200 a day, sometimes a little more or less. Seeing how fast this industry changes, of course
it got to a point where the game got major changes (I don't have enough knowledge to go in-depth here) so he earns no money this way anymore.

I think that you can make money testing them or if you start gambling like online casinos and play this games and get paid but i would not do that...
It's much better if you start your own online business or find other sources of income online

PewDiePie and lots of others are making money playing games.
But to make money you have to produce value. They are providing funny reviews.
Games testing is another way to make money playing games, but youtubing may be much more profitable.
