Color scheme for my site?

I've decided to create a website for my freelancing that I've been doing. I know what site and layout(pretty much), what I'm trying to figure out, is what type of graphics should I use? I had one a while back that was simple with just a colorful, generic logo that I had picked out. But now that I want to build this one better, and SEO friendly, what do you guys think would work better?
Professionally speaking I guess. No crazy, wild, flashy stuff, just a simple crisp and clean site. What type of color scheme would you recommend for it as well? I'm leaning toward black, teal and white. (yes, I've posted this at IMS as well, because not everyone here is there and not everyone there is here.):wub:

Actually digital marketing agency site can fit with any color match up! It should be something that show your creativity or out-of-box idea while maintaining the professional and reliable look of your firm.

You may take a look at the successful agency websites, in the professional world sometimes there are many reasons behind the design since it can give different feeling to visitors.

Try check these sites, they are quite famous in their fields. For me blue give me a sense of reliability and most of the time it includes some bright and color of excitement such as yellow and orange, but i think that combi are quite conventional. I also like white or grey with green, they give audience a space to think while green can also trigger the creativity or improvement.

There's this new trend, that the websites look really simple and are in similar colour (most of them is grey right now). But the only thing that distinguishes them is the font. Most common is the brush type right now. It looks good, is simple and at the same time intriguing. If I were to give an advice, I'd say do what the rest does but make your fonr exceptional. Make it something that makes you unique. Read more about making your own font here.

Css-tricks, 1st web designer blog, moz, Mashable, tech crunch are my favorite sites.

Mashable gives very professional look with simple colors, decent font, retina ready images and brief content. I like and suggest you Mashable kind of design.

You need focus on website loading time also.

Have you tried looking at a website called http://www.colorcombos.com/combolibrary.html they give you loads of ideas on color combos and could help you in deciding what colours to use and what colours work best. Sometimes i will use this to help me decide if a colour goes or if i cannot think of what colour combos i want to use

Honestly, in my opinion, stick to flat colors and design. It's the trending thing right now. Though, if you're trying for something completely different from the norm, you could go with bold and bright flat colors as not many freelancers or people do that. However, I wouldn't recommend straying too far from what is trending as most people like consistency. A simple text logo with a flat icon would probably suffice for what you're trying to accomplish as well. Hope this helps!

There are many color palettes. I prefer neutral color scheme with a pop of strong color ( like green or yellow). Minimal color scheme is very elegant and your website is clear ang give unique impresion. Neutral background is good idea.
