What is the difference between a forum and a Q&A site?

I would like to know what is the difference between a forum and a Q&A site system?
What should I choose to develop a community with more advantages?

By Q&A site, do you mean something like ask.com?

I think you will find a much larger sense of community with a forum. It allows user to discuss rather then just answering a question. It us also easier to have long conversations, get to k ow each other, et.

Forum is basically used to do discussion on a particular topic whereas QnA is for question and answering to the queries of the people who are surfing internet daily.
