Hi all

A lot of people especially online marketers don't fully take and utilize the advantage of twitter to boost their online business. let me tell you that twitter is a powerful way to get free targeted traffic to whatever niche you are in. It doesn't matter if you are in the making money online niche, weight loss, travel,fishing,parenting,etc.. there will always be a lot of people on twitter who like the things you are into. So here is some great ways to take advantage of twitter to drive FREE targeted traffic to your website.

1. Sign up- Make sure your website/ business name is is your username.

2. Write great tweets! -Sounds obvious doesn't it. But trust me, making good creative tweets will go a long way because people will like them and get them retweeted. Why do you want to be retweeted? Because their followers can see you tweet making it go viral. One thing I do is to go on Pinterest and find good viral photos and pics. For example if you are in the dog training niche, you can go on Twitter, find a great informative picture and post, and share it on Twitter.

3. Don't link to your website all the time- If every tweet you make is a link to your website then you run the risk of being classed as a spammer. You do not want something like this to happen. this will lead to you being banned from Twitter forever. Instead Most of your tweets should be great valuable content and advice. Every now and then 1/4th of the time.

4. Follow many people interested in you niche- The wonderful thing with twitter is that if you follow a whole bunch of people interested in your niche, a portion of them will follow you back. This is powerful. Because everytime your business releases a new product or ebook you can then those followers you have forever. A rule of thumb is to follow about 100 people a day. Interact with them every now and then. In a month you should have your first 500 or so followers who you can market your website too.

Twitter is a totally powerful platform for traffic, and I cant recommend it highly enough. What do you think? Have you used or are using or have you thought about using Twitter for your website or business?

I'm getting confused when reading to this step, would you mind explaining me why it needs to be named as my username? why not is my brand name?

New ideas I found on this step. Thanks for great article!

Just a thought, but wouldn't it make the most sense to have your website named the same as your brand? It's a rhetorical question btw.
Most website names named as their brand name and the same on twitter, I am surprised by the OP's step
1. Sign up- Make sure your website/ business name is is your username.
So that I asked that.
