I am working on a website whose name is nanowebtech. I uploaded the meta tags and description according to the pages. But in Google search engine, metadata not showing. Whats the reason?

Maybe Google chose best text or relevant phase on your site to use for the mete description, or you need to be partient.

Google will show whatever title tag and meta description it wants to. It's been this way for years.

Also, if you just recently updated it, the changes are not reflected instantly in search engine's indexes. They have to crawl your site and find the changes.

You need to login in Webmaster tools, choose option Crawl > Fetch as Google enter the page in which you have added or changed meta tags (example: index.html) and click on Fetch and render. If page is successfully fetched add it to the list.

If still your metadata is not detected then check your coding. Their might be some error or can also have any compatibility issue with the plugin.

Google never says that they will always use the title and meta data to show on their SERPs. Google choose what is the most appropriate title and meta data which can be use to display on SERPs. They can display anything from Content or Heading (H1-H6) tags.

incorrectly done maybe, do you have experience doing it? I think google is selective in doing it anyway, they pick whatever, although i'm not too sure.

The bot will make the best description it finds more relevant to the specific search query. It's not done "wrong".
