Do you think domain extension such as .com .net .org affect SEO value?
I should go with .com for the most popular and it have more value for SEO or keyword rankings?

Any suggestions?

The short answer is No... What is on your website and what is pointing to your website is what counts.... The only TLDs that matter are country specific if your target audience is National e.g. .us, co.uk etc... But even that has very little weighting... Again its all about what is on your website and what points to it....

If it is a local extension then, then yes, local extensions domains/websites have more priorities in their local results. Other than that, the answer is no.

I always would try to go for a .com extension only because most people are familiar with it. Next would be a .org. But it really doesn't matter what matters is the unique engaging content you put on your site. If your content helps people then it will get shared, liked and tweeted thus giving you traffic to your site. Social engagement (comments on your site) helps as well

Hope this helped.

Technically, there isn't any SEO value what website you have taken with any domain extensions. Important note is that Extensions depend on the use. Like.. .com is going to show more socially and contrariwise, .org has more strain in a charitable way.

Prioritizing .COM above every other extension is ideal for a number of reasons but I never heard of it effecting SEO on a site. Just go with what works best for your niche. .COM and .NET typically work well for anything but if you are focusing on charity or "organizations" then .ORG is the best call.

Google has stated that they don't use the domain extension as a ranking factor except in the case of country code (CC) domains. It the case of CC domains, the SEO benefits would be for the country that the CC is for specifically.

It mostly depends on your site's nature and niche. If you're running a business then a .com / .net tld would be more appropriate.

If your site is country specific then a country specific tld would be best. Google sees abit on tld relevancy these days (my opinion) so yes i think TLD does impact SEO but not to a large extent.

General TLD's like .com .info ect will not affect your ranking in any way you are equal to everyone else. gTLD's like co.uk com.pe com.it .it .es .... they are geo targeted TLD's so what it means for Google is that you will rank a website .es then you will rank Google.es and not Google.com or google.co.in

For almost gTLD domains, they're all good choices. However, it depends on what purpose you should buy your domain, building your own business or investment? And depend on who are your target audiences, if someone builds a website for his local customers then ccTLD domains the best choice. However .COM is the best and then .NET, .ORG, .INFO,...For ccTLD, I think those are .IN, .CO, .IO, .ME,...IMO

Good luck to you,

Yes, domain extensions affect SEO. .COM domains can rank easily & quickly and users can easily remember this as compare to other domain extensions. I always try to pick .COM domains where it is possible because .com extension is best for targeting more online users.

Although most of the sites that dominate the serps go with the .com's but one can also with with .net and .org as they too have the same amount of ranking potential. It's just how you optimize your site properly for the search engines is what matters.

It does not matter what tld you are using, as long as your website page is seo optimized, use right meta title, description & keywords and backlinks to your domain name.

In my opinion, it does indirectly affect SEO. If we're talking strictly about .org, .net, .com, then I don't think they make too much of a difference, but if we're to go into domains like .biz, .info or .xyz (lame extension if you ask me), then people generally lack trust and the CTR would go down, thus negatively affecting SEO.
