Surfing more websites today I've seen websites using email subscriber box to get email list. I am wondering it is effective ? and can you share me ways how to increase email subscriber list?

1) Subscribe via comment box
2)Improve the page visitors get after they subscribe to your mailing list - The Thank You Page.
3)Create something to giveaway as incentive with each blog post you make and ask your readers to subscribe to your email list in order to get it
4)Guest posting is a great way to get in front of a bigger sampling of your ideal audience. To get the most email subscribers out of your guest post, make good use of your About the Author bio box.

You can start doing "ad swaps" with other email list owners. It's where you send an ad out for each other and both of you get new subscribers.

You can also go to sites like buysellads and buy a banner ad on sites in your niche. I use them all the time to grow my lists.

Make a one site of one page and place one attractive ad like you will win IPad or something else which need to be attractive that will attract more people and share it in social media sites that will help you lots.

I use paid solo ads directed to a squeeze page and sales funnel. This method builds my list and creates revenue.

Create a free, online tool or resource and have users sign up with their email address. For example, HubSpot has created plenty of free tools to use for prospect and lead generation -- most recently Marketing Grader.

I will suggest you to add your Newsletter subscription box above the fold in your Sidebar and also add one below every posts.
