Most of the time client doesn't provide their real mobile number and if you enforce 2fa and make it mendetory then I think you will loose a large number of clients.
But I do think it's worth to do that it will not only help as an extra communication method but also increase security
However we still not sure if it's best for us to implement it right now

Have not used that specific addon so I cannot speak to the code. The thing worth checking before buying any of them is which transport it runs on underneath.

If it goes through the official Cloud API, anything you send outside the twenty four hour window since the client last messaged you has to be a template approved by Meta in advance, and templates are billed. Invoice reminders, renewal notices and suspension warnings all fall outside that window, so every one of them needs registering first and none of them are free. If instead the addon drives WhatsApp Web or some unofficial library, it looks cheaper and works fine right up until the number gets banned, which usually happens once volume picks up rather than during testing. Which of the two does the one you linked use?
