Hey everyone,

cPHulk vs. CSF, what is the difference and which one is better?

I am using cpanel and it already got cPhulk and some recommend me to install CSF too, is is necessary?

cPHulk and CSF are both security solutions for cPanel. cPHulk is a brute force protection system that comes with cPanel, while CSF (ConfigServer Security & Firewall) is a free, open-source firewall solution that can be installed on cPanel servers.

CSF offers more advanced options and is compatible with more servers and software than cPHulk. However, cPHulk is widely considered easier to use than CSF, making it a good choice for those unfamiliar with complex security configurations.

If you need something simple go for cPHulk but if you need something really secure go for CSF. A properly configured firewall is a must for security.

I second that. CSF is more versatile. Definitely recommend.
