Types of affiliate programs

Hi all,

I know Types of affiliate programs but no more explanations for them
here's some types I knew
- Pay per sale
- Pay per lead
- Pay per click
- Flat fee affiliate
- Single tier program
- Two tier program
- Multi tier program

Can anyone show me brief information about these types ?

Because i am new member i cannot post the link, so i will put the simple text here.

- Pay per sale = payment when an actual sale is generated

- Pay per lead = payment when a lead is generated i.e. someone filled out a contact form

- Pay per click = payment when someone clicks on your ad

- Flat fee affiliate = usually falls in pay per sale category, just a flat fee regardless as to which product (or product version) is sold

- Single tier program - payment on 1-level, you generate ALL sales/leads yourself, no recruiting or earning from affiliates under you i.e. no "sub-affiliates"

- Two tier program - You can recruit sub-affiliates to work on your team and in addition to earning from your own marketing efforts - you can also earn % of what your sub-affiliates earn.

- Multi tier program - Similar to the Two-tier only it usually has as additional tier whereby you can now not only earn from your sub-affiliates, but now you can also earn a percentage from the affiliates that your sub-affiliates recruited.
