Hello, I'm new here and don't know much about website hosting etc, so please bear with me.
Is there any free website host or free website builder software that lets you download your website to use it with any provider or is there no such thing? I need to build a site for free to begin with before I upgrade to a paid plan and I want to use an offshore host as my provider. However, most of the offshore hosts that I've stumbled upon either don't have their own website builder, and/or don't have a free plan or either.
Other than coding a website myself, which I know nothing about, what is a way to get a website and be free to use it wherever without them owning the code? I also need it to have an option for PayPal or store if possible. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been searching and so tired just when I think I found something, there's a catch. Please. TIA.
