I am checking around dedicated server offers and almost they have HDD disks which could give me lower price then SSD. I am wondering if I use HDD for my dedicated servers, it will make my websites load slower than running on SSD disks more?

It all will depend on how much disk space is left on your server HDD. My experience with HDD is not good so i would suggest you to try SSD which is 300% faster than HDD.

Depends on how many websites you are running. SSD are much faster also you may want to look at the CPU as well.

HDD is definitely slower than SSD...To minimize costs and achieve highest value, consider a small SSD storage for hosting the operating system and secondary HDD storage for file storage.

Hosting I/O intensive processes (like database) on SSD will yield noticeable performance improvement over traditional spinning disks. Some dedicated server providers have customizable options for server configuration on order form to allow you to optimize for your requirements.

SSDs will perform much better for disk heavy reads such as databases etc, however HDDs are still a relative option when it comes to value for money for storage such as backups etc. It entirely depends what you're looking at running and how many websites you plan to host. SSDs are definitely much better performance wise and the costs of purchase have come down significantly over the last year or so.

Yes you are right, I like buying SSD but I have low budget when choosing dedicated servers, I never used HDD disk before thus I am not sure about its performance can accept or not.

It won't actually affect the site speed, but it can make your computer slower to process information thereby making it appear to slow down the site. Rule of thumb is you should keep a minimum of 15% of your hard drive free. Once you get below 15%, everything can slow down and in some cases, greatly.

There are a number of variables when determining site speed. It sounds like you're budget restrained, so while HDD would be cheaper, HDD is considerably slower than SSD. Is your site I/O labor intensive?

Yes choose only SSD hosting if you dont want to suffer from the lagging speed of writing over HDD

Yes, HDD is now just plain too slow. That said, there are even different classes of both HDD & SSD. But HDD shouldn't be used for anything but backup (and not in a RAID on a server unless it is a home media server). As far as the different classes of SSD go, I really wouldn't worry about that as much as getting quality drives. In other words, a good, reliable brand.

Now what is a good reliable brand is sort of an issue. I am going on experience, mostly from the reliability I enjoyed (or did not get) which I experienced with HDD drives as far as quality goes, with Samsung interjecting some superiority because of all the great reviews. However, when you go to buy an SSD, often the newer stuff is not only faster, but also much more inexpensive, just because they get better at making them, miniaturize components and make them cheaper. You can see this on Amazon, the older SSDs are often more expensive. So, if a web host reveals that they are using $400 1TB drives, it doesn't necessarily speak to the quality of a drive unless they reveal the class. Still, NOC or Webserver drives are supposed to be better, but you are reaching a plateau where the higher investment yields fewer returns in advantages.

I used to think that the biggest single improvement on a server was memory. And that probably used to be true at one time. Now I think by far is upgrading the hard drive to SSD. I am in the process now of upgrading all of my servers and its great for sites that use a database such as WordPress or others.

No, any services are bad for a website, but yes how they perform it depends on your requirements. like here you skin that HDD Is slow for a website. no, it depends that how much your disk space, and traffic range.

HDD is best for the website who have low traffic and low disk space. but yes for a high traffic site and a large website HDD Is a not good option.
