I don't think it is worth to list or get backlinks on a new directory like this, or it has less backlinks pointing to this directory. You need to find quality directories to help increase your web hosting sales but nowadays, forums can replace directories for this task.

Oh! I am not talking about the website, but the links within the page Eg whtop.com.

Yes, It does help with improving the reputations i.e Reviews/Testimonials of your website and generate leads and sales also. Specially on the sites like webhostinggeeks, and whtop.

That's a great question. The listing you have provided seems pretty good and most of which are very popular too. However, for increased web hosting sales and lead conversion, if the listing is relevant to your scope/niche, then go for it because in doing so there is nothing to lose. However, it all comes down to relevancy what conversion you may get. Often times, good directories listing might be really helpful for your prospects to find you on the web generating some level of trust to your business. Please don't just spam rather try to be relevant and useful. This way with no wonder directories listing might help you in great regard boosting web hosting sales.

I think it might be worth just putting your name on those type of pages, but I don't agree that it will be your go-to in getting traffic. You're just in an essences putting your name out their. And it does nothing more than that, really. It won't help with the reputation of your company either. It might help with it's presence but not it's reputation. I don't believe any top web hosting lists, as everyone always claims to be the #1 best web host. There are a lot of web hosts who also fake reviews. A lot of those top web host lists, at least a large majority of them are in the business to make money. They sell advertising space and depending on the web hosts budget, how deep the company pockets are, gets them a higher listing. Again I think it's certainly worth to just list, but I wouldn't expect too much of an outcome on that. I certainly wouldn't drop any money into getting your name listed as well. Too many of those websites exists to list your site for free.
