Apologies for the delayed response.
BountySite is platform independent, as all security scans are done offline.
The website is backed up via FTP/FTPS/SFTP with MySQL backup, and scans are run on the backup.

If your website does get hacked, you can find out what happened and easily fix it. In most cases, an update should fix.

Basically, if your site is on BountySite, you can take care of your website security on your own.

The scanning works on files directly by backing up website files. No live scanning. System is designed to work on large scale of websites, without any impact on hosting server. The website backup is also very light weight on hosting server.
