I have a given service that does not have cPanel. I want to migrate away to WordPress (with or without cPanel). Not only am I going to change my web hosting service to something with more reliable support, but I want to change my domain name. Is there a service that will laboriously change the internal links relative to my website to the new host?
The other challenge is that I want to introduce integers into every article's URL. This does not currently exist. The migration is mostly simple; here are the five requirements that I have:
1) migrate the articles to have their internal links change relative to the new domain
2) have a site-wide unique integer value for every URL
3) move from Weebly to WordPress
4) I have roughly 1,000 articles that need to move over. I want a URL forwarder to my new site for at least one year.
5) I want my category assignments preserved. My blog has "Category A", "Category B" and "Category C". I want these Category assignments preserved after the migration.
My migration is not that fancy. Is there a better subforum for this question?
