I have WHM/cPanel and using it for a few websites, just wanting to move them to Nginx web server but not sure I can do that with cPanel. If yes then how?

The nginx plugins most of them are used infront or behind apache/php-fpm, only one plugin that you can use as standalone webserver nginx is https://autom8n.com/ we are using it and works like a charm.

Hello ! You can use NGINX in two ways:
- Use it as standalone web server: go with the solution provided by @AlbaHost
- Use it as caching / reverse proxy server: go with the solution provided by @HostechSupport

I just tried Engitron and it works like a charm. :)

May be you can simply use CDN like CloudFlare, and not worry about server performance.

Just wonder, how is cloudflare supposed to work if the current server has no performance?

"just wanting to move them to Nginx web server"
The most common reason to move to Nginx is to better static content delivery and better server performance(mainly due to async, allowing high concurrency). You still need nginx to forward dynamic location to fcgi or apache+mod_php.

Having CloudFlare ahead of nginx offloads static data rendering, and relieves lot of I/O.

XtendWeb support Proxy to Apache httpd and standalone Nginx on a per domain or sub-folder basis. It also does L7 DDOS and Brute force mitigation out of the box and plugin also can be used to scale the Nginx stack to multiple cpanel servers ensuring High Availability and horizontal scalability

You could just use Plesk with its native Nginx support (standalone or reverse proxy) and has full fastcgi_cache/proxy_cache support.

There are many plugins available. If you want nginx for better performance then by using engintron you can achive it becase nginx works as a reverce proxy and serves static contents rest dynamic contents are server by apache.
