Almost time I used live chat on hosting sites and asking prices and support before purchasing. Even when I bought a hosting package, I used live chat to get support if my hosting gets issues and I think it is a way to get fast support. What about you? do you need live chat? and if you are a web hosting provider, live chat is an easy way to get customers for hosting sites?

With our customers it's 99% chat support they use. Clients get fast update and resolution and support staff can quickly understand and replicate the error clients in getting via livechat to offer fast support. This relation with our customers has really helped our quality of support. Once you support is good you automatically get new customers by a recommendation from existing once.

Live chat is a must-have on eCommerce websites today and I find it more convenient to get support before purchasing a product. :)

I would like to agree that live chat is a must have for hosting providers. Customers get faster answers to their questions about the services or receive help to solve the issue. Most customers feel safer when they see that the provider can be contacted instantly.

Live chat is convenient for many people who prefer typing and having written correspondence, rather than having phone calls. That's all. It does not guarantee sales, however.

Live chat on your website can play a critical role in closing leads into customers. It makes your online business more "human" providing your customers with the opportunity to talk to your staff exactly when they need it. When browsing your website the visitors will most likely have questions about your products/services. With Live Chat you can answer those questions right away. What’s more, the interaction via chat is more personal and casual which can help your customers open up to talk about their needs. You on the other hand gain the opportunity to build trust and create a relation with the client. You can easily take advantage of the moment while the prospect is interested in your products and help them make the buying decision - assist the visitor with the purchase and eliminate abandoned shopping carts.

For the hoster live chat it very good to obtain new customers, especially if you have salesmanship skills. You can offer a special tariff, or discounts. And of course, live communication is better perceived by customers. By the way, if you start from the opposite, without a chat, you will lose about a third of potential customers.

In the chat you can always sell more and faster.
The main goal of any business is to sell: faster, more, more often and more expensive.
