I have seen some deals on the internet but maybe someone can suggest me from their experience or from this forum?
I need 8 gbs of ram, 1 tb of disk space, unlimited bandwidth, Linux and managed servers
Any suggestions?

With 1TB of disk space, I am assuming that you are looking for dedicated servers I believe? I would recommend going with SSDs but 1TB of SSD space in a dedicated server is not going to be very cheap and more so if you add a second SSD to ensure redundancy in case of a drive failure.

Do you really need that 1TB of storage space?

Additionally, most providers will not have an unlimited bandwidth on VPS or dedicated servers. Firstly, since unlimited does not exist and secondly because IP transit has a cost attached to it.

We are from the UK and we have used certahosting.co.uk for over 6 months now. We found them on another large web hosting forum and people were singing their praises. We decided to give them a go and haven't looked back. The speed is good along wit the uptime and the prices are very reasonable.

What would the 1TB of disc space be used for? VPS servers can go this high but for 1TB maybe your better off looking at a dedicated server

1TB disk on VPS will slowdown VPS so I can't suggest you to go for VPS, Getting 1TB disk on Shared server is not possible unless someone ready to give you 1TB disk at good amount.

I mean price will be expensive because of 1TB disk + Backup disk will also required.

Better to go for dedicated server to avoid frequent server issue.

Have you thought about using a CDN instead to deliver your videos? It will be way faster. You can host your videos in an AWS S3 bucket and serve it off CloudFront, for example. While you can get 1TB of disk space on a VPS technically but you will end up with either of the following:

- Get a massively oversold VPS, most VPS nodes use 1TB or a very few use 2TB SSD drives on their VPS nodes, the average total disk space on the node itself is usually 1TB to 2TB in most cases. So, if someone is selling you a VPS with 1TB SSD space chances are you may not be able to use that 1TB as a whole.

- You may get an HDD or SSD Cached VPS which is never going to match the performance as that of a Pure SSD setup.

- You may end up paying an amount which will get you a dedicated server with better specs.

My advice would be to get a VPS, and have all the 'content' within a CDN to keep the heavy load off the VPS, you'll save a lot of money.
Whats your budget per month? If you can share that then I'm sure we can all help you find something for you're video website.
