Just use google and you get all answers:
http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Install_KVM
I see they mentioned to Requirements to install KVM
CentOS 5.x / 6.x / 7.x or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x / 6.x or Scientific Linux 5.x / 6.x or Ubuntu 12.04 or Ubuntu 14.04 or Ubuntu 16.04(x86_64)
yum / apt-get
Storage to create the VPS (DomUs) disks
but not server specifications like RAM, CPUs,..etc
Do I need a good server to install it?

As much as you have RAM/CPU so much you can create virtual machines, simple as that ;) Let say, if you have a dedicated server with 4GB ram and 2CPU you can create 3 virtual machines with 1GB ram and with 1 cpu.
