Restart cPanel ssh?

Is it possible to restart a specific cPanel account with ssh instead of using root account to restart whole server? For any changes on a cPanel account, I need to restart this account and check affects but I don't see a way to do this. Any help?

You can restart cpanel service by logging in with root user on dedicated server. You can restart an individual cpanel account by any means. Between what you made to think restarting a cpanel account ?

What do you mean by restart cPanel for an account or is it web server restart you are mentioning? There is no account level services with cPanel and the services are server-wide. Or give more information like what you do right now to fix the issue you are facing. There is no service restart expected to reflect any changes for accounts and it will happen automatically.

According to me, it is not possible to restart a specific cPanel account via SSH and all you need to do is using root account to reboot the server or using WHM to restart your server. It is same function.

For SSH, you can use these commands to restart your cPanel server

shutdown -r now

You cannot restart a specific account only the whole cPanel process 'service cpanel restart' will do the trick no need to reboot ^^^
