If you are familiar with the shared hosting service then it will be easy for you to become reseller. Just you will need to learn some WHM concepts as you will get WHM access as reseller owner. You will need to learn, how to create the packages, accounts on the WHM.

In the start you can have the two to three hosting service plan. You can offer those plans to your customer. Once you will get familiar with the reseller service then you can purchase your own VPS.

Start from what you can afford or within the budget first. Make sure you market your product diligently especially that if you do not have a stall. Starting is really difficult because you've got to crawl your way up. IT's not easy always foresee some obstacles ahead.

To become a reseller is not so easy. You most have some technical knowledge to give support to your client. It is also not so easy to get a client when you don't have any experience so i suggest you first get some technical knowledge and then think to become a reseller.

I am very interested in reselling business also. As far as i know first, we must have a very reliable supplier. We should contact the supplier about their products that we want to resell. Also know your product, some advised me to purchase product for myself first. Try the product and see if it has a market. Next, is know your target market. Don't just sell anything. Pick what you are passionate about. Then, learn how to market your product. You can use blogs/vlogs and other social media platform.

Start with a VPS imo.
With a VPS you don't need a middle man (a reseller account) and you'll have control of all the things.
With a reseller account you always have to follow the rules from your upstream provider and less control.
The good thing with a reseller account is that you don't need to manage the VPS. The company that you are buying the accounts will manage all the technical stuff for you.

You should first have a capital. A business is nothing without capital. Ensure everything is going well than start with the business in mind. Think about what you want to sell and what are your goals. That way, you can establish a plan. Invest in something that would give you more than something that doesn't give much at all.

Well, in my opinion, the very first thing you need to consider is the traffic.like for example if you are starting a restaurant, of course, you will find a place where there are lots of people coming so your restaurant will get noticed.Same goes with online business,you have to consider how the viewrs,visitors will notice your products.Hope this help you.

My sister is in the reselling business and she started no capital aside from word of mouth and social media. First she collaborated with suppliers and ask permission if she can post and resell their products. She also applied a payment first policy since she don't have that much of capital. Works for her, now she is getting orders from 20,000 to 30,000 per week.

Attitude and good relationship to your family and friends is the best capital in this business and even to other businesses. Because when it comes to marketing people look for a trusted and friendly seller. They may not know you personally but, your family member and your friends know them. The quality and/or effectiveness of your products is also important that, you may not bring disappointments to your clients and to your referral.

Reselling is a good idea but before entering to that business as part time or passive income make sure that you have the knowledge about it. Choosing the right product in accordance to your talent, passion and interest will make that business easier for you. Budget is so important, without this, its so hard to start but if you are willing you can find a way by asking financial help or sponsor yet start at small one first as the business grow, your knowledge will also grow. If your planning to be in reselling business, starting it online is more easier. For example, you want reselling a product coming from a known dealer, you can promote it easily via social media. Reselling is nothing more than purchasing cheaply new or previously owned products that we all need, use or want, and reselling these same items for more than cost. The difference between what you paid and what you sold it for, of course, is your profit. The mantra of every reselling is simple, and easily memorized: Buy low cost product from your dealer, sell high for your own profit. But ofcourse, I'm not suggesting to re-sell it over-priced, just make a right profit from it.

I have an online business and would say that starting an online business is not easy. You need to establish customers and you need to make sure that you will keep your customers. Having an online business is very time consuming and really needs a lot patience and hardwork, You should have the patience to answer all questions that all your customers are asking and you have to be online 24/7 or else you might miss your customers queries and they might find a different store. the good way to start in every selling business are:

First you must have a good communication skills, positive attitude because you will encounter a lot of people with a different attitude, you must be polite in every way. Patience is also needed because you cannot please all the customer, you need more convincing power to promote your product. In short the first step in yourself. To do the unbelievable task you must believe in your self.

Second: You need to know what product you will sell. Learn and do some research about it even if its have a bad or good side you must know how to promote it to your costumer. Because you will never who will you encounter maybe he/she know about the product but she/he only testing you and giving you false comment just putting your product down. It's important how to defend your product at all cost in positive and legal way.

and Third: Make sure your product is legal it is very important, Because even though you do the first and second step i said but your product is illegal it's useless and you might go in jail. So be careful in every product you will sell.

If you want to be a reseller first thing to do is to know who is your target customers. If you know your target customer it is easy to know what would you going to resell. Second thing is find a good supplier and can help you to your business. A supplier that provide all your needs and products that you wantto resell. Thirdly, since you are a student you should know what will product that you can afford to purchase on your budget so that you cannot have a problem once there is too many customer that buying your product.
Lastly,you need to be responsible and friendly to your customer so that you will get their loyalty as your customer.
