Single VPS Server or Cloud VPS

Hi,I was looking to see which is better between Single VPS Server or Cloud VPS when setting up a small business that I intend to use to sell some products online?Just looking to see which is more cost effective and easy to manage.

Hi this all depends on how you want your small business to work.

If your just starting up then i would go with a normal VPS and built it form there.
If you know you need a demeaning VPS but needs to be online 24/7 and redundant which means that it will auto run on a new server if the current host goes down.

I would ask very specific questions of any provider about their "cloud" hosting. A lot of the time even it's just on a single server they still market it as cloud so they don't need to put the investment into building a true cloud platform. Simple put they lie about it thinking customers don't have enough understand about the technology to know the difference.

Regardless "type" of VPS you buy a server is still a server and will be the same to manage regardless.

If you are going small buisness than Single vps will be Good one to start once business start growing to can take Dedicated server

my choice is VPS with own virtual server environment.

I would say since you are intending to set up a small business, you should go for a single VPS server first before you even consider cloud hosting. When your business is expanding and needs more than what VPS can provide you and faces high traffic,you can check out cloud hosting.
