One fictional example would be UsedCar.biz or GiveItTo.us. In other words, these are domains extensions and their connecting words put together to spell new catchy and/or funny sentences and compound words.

Well, anyway, do you think they would help out a business or hurt it? Do you think they a bit dumb? Do you own any yourself or have thought about getting one? Myself, I have one, but I probably would have registered more if only the trend didn't come so late in the game.

myself I own a .space and a .download I think they fun and it works ALOT better in the search engines if you ask me. .space I use for my DNS server so everything that has to do with my servers all come up as domain.space not sure if it helps my buisness or not. just know I like things organized :) the .download I created a warez site with it. works pretty good. gets a ton of visitors just no sign ups :( if I was you I would go with it.

The domain hack trend only seems promising if you are looking to flip the domain, but in terms of long term use then I doubt it can work well since there are many factors that comes into consideration.

It looks fun and it is memorable, but you have to know that most webmasters block emails from gTLDs like .xyz, .space etc.

Some cTLDs work really well for branded URL shorteners. We use rho.st for shortening our URLs and it works great for hosting brands. We also use .reviews for our rosehosting.reviews site. Rocket.Chat found great use in the .chat gTLD. This forum, of course, used the .hosting gTLD perfectly. There are other notable examples too.

You can always get both the .com and a gTLD/cTLD and either redirect one or keep one as a backup.

Just curious, what you think they are making this .hosting gTLD perfectly?
You don't need to buy a .reviews for a new domain, you can use a subdomain like this reviews.rosehosting.com, its almost the same.
