How does member of month is decided?

I would like to know, what are the parameters or criteria, to decide who is member of month?

Is it someone who posts more threads (mostly questions) or someone who helps out people and solves their issues related to hosting?

Inputs from admins and mods here will helpful to everyone clear up things and understand who qualifies for memeber of month. Thanks

Although I am not interested in prize, I want to know how you choose member of month. If you are choosing on post count, that is not the best method as per my opinion.

Requirements

1 Liner posts won't be counted
Posts with content deemed to solely increase post count will be disqualified
Posts must be coherent and be a valuable contribution
Posts must conform to all rules laid out in the forum rules

Not only hosting. Replies, questions, threads from all forums will be counted as posts which helping other people on the forum.

Mods and I here will realize who is posting replies just to increase post count. (spam posts or 1 liner posts with low quality content can be deleted or reminded).

I often send prizes and announce about the winner on day 28th month and this month David is faster than you.

Its okay, I am not gonna win over him, because I know only helping people. I do not ask questions much, so it obvious I will not reach post counts..simple.. anyway no problem.

I am here just to interact with people and spend sometime discussing with experts over here ( yes, there are too many experts in their own feilds) and its good to see healthy forum. I was on serveral place over internet which is manipulated and often un transparent.. Hope this forum will stay like this, even after its growth.

And I can predict this forum will grow even more very soon and it may compete with WHT or similar places. Thanks. Good luck admin.

The forum will compete itself, as it will dominate google. You just have to do what you are doing now, that is keeping things good and making it a better place.

Growing a forum needs more efforts and we need people like you on the forum :ertery:
This forum has many advantages to compete with others on Google, i also tried to test and posted an useful post and a little surprising, after 5 minutes its page could be indexed and ranked on top 5 Google search results with the keyword that I targeted to.

If you have good ideas to improve our forum, don't hesitate to share us.
