Please review our SSL Certificates reseller website

Hi everyone!

We launched SSL Dragon a while ago. You can find our website at: https://www.ssldragon.com/
We would very much appreciate your feedback and/or professional opinion on all aspects of the website, but primarily on 3 areas:

1) What is your first impression when you enter and use the website during the first minute, and how that feel stays or changes over the time that you spend on our website?
2) What is your opinion about our website design, speed, usability, navigation, how easy it is to find products, etc?
3) How do you find the prices for our products compared to what you were used to pay for SSL Certificates in the past?

It is a good design with layouts and well organized, I don't find out any bad things on your site, just this graphic should be improved a bit, it is pretty funny and not suitable with your site.



I think the designer should improve the dragon head to make it better.

Good speed and easy on eyes. Simple navigation and easy to find information there.

Your pricing is good but in the list of features, i don't see how to install your SSL service on a website, you should provide document or support users to install it if they don't know how to do.

I see what you say. I know we made all dragons funny on purpose. When people think about dragons most of them imagine big and fierce creatures. We wanted to make the dragons funny, friendly and welcoming. That is why we chose our dragons like that. But your feedback about that particular image makes total sense, and I appreciate you being frank about that. Would you kindly tell me, which of the 3 images with dragons from below look better to you than the image with the dragon that you didn't like? I am asking that, because if more people like one image in particular, then that one should go on the homepage for sure.

We do have detailed information about how to install SSL Certificates in the FAQ section of the site. But who cares? Few people would go to the FAQ to search for that. So, your point of adding this information on the SSL Certificate's details page makes total sense. We will go with that recommendation for sure, and implement it on the site.

Very good website, home landing page is very good, so it should keep user to visit next pages on site.

Honestly, i purchased ssl only one time in the past that was years ago. So did not remember pricing. Things have changed a lot. But your pricing is good I hope.

These versions are not better than the current one which you are using on your site now. I had to see your dragon and comparing with other popular sites then your designer is exact and his purpose is not giving a "funny" dragon that it is revealing an amazing feeling on its face when seeing the service offering on that slide. I would recommend using this

From my first look was wrong because it needs to analyze carefully about the status of your dragon and I rethink about that, your graphic designer is very professional. He designed the dragon as wanting to tell "wow...that's amazing"...

Of course no one cares but as I know and read on forums then mostly newbies didn't know how to setup SSL for their sites and feeling difficult with that. I was too and I had to find document to learn on how to install SSL for my hosting panel and my websites.

Website make a very effective first impression really a good work, perfect color combination, very well managed content which may keep visitor engaged to your website.

Personally really liked designed very much also test its repressiveness great work mate, All graphics i found amazing and interesting.

Pricing looks good, honestly yet I have not compared your price with other providers.

Before visiting your site, I imagined it to be designed using the Hot Color palette (red, orange, yellow, etc. colors) but it was cool green.

This is a very smart move I would say, since the SSLs are often shown as green color so you adopted the color in your design. Bravo

In the navbar, the / can be remove as it is sort of killing the navbar design (my personal choice).

The color of the livechat widget is awful. I mean the color combination and it actually hides. You can make its background as blue & the text in grey (or background green & text dark grey).

I did expect a slider of images/content instead of a static image so that I can just get a glimpse of what you are offering without even scrolling down.

Why not make "Confused choosing?NEED HELP?" in red ? as it gets un-noticed

You are right about why we chose green as the color for our website Also, what you said about the main menu, the colors for the live chat and for the "Need help" - make total sense. I am sure your feedback on these areas will get the majority of votes among our team of decision makers. Also, our slider had 5 slides, but we reduced it to 1 to make our website open fast. As we optimize other areas of our pages, and make the website open even faster we will consider adding 3-4 more slides, and making them load in the background after the very first slide is up. Thanks so much for your time and valuable feedback.

David Beroff, thank you for your response and continuous feedback about the images with the dragons. I appreciate you taking the time to read my questions and answer them. You are right about our purpose with the images with the dragons. They are like that because they should express amazement and make people have a good mood and feel safe when they view the images. Our team is already working on adding links to the FAQ items which tell users how to install their SSL Certificates, and to other items that answer the most asked questions that we get from users. This was a great catch from you! Making this inforation easily available is definitely a great thing to do. Thank you!!!

Ok the site look great, question is your sales report on the site true, and with lets encrypt on servers people are getting ssl certificates for free...Just saying. Thanks

That is strange. It should work perfect. Could you please try checking out again? If you get an error again, then please let me know the name of the exact certificate that you were trying to buy, as well as the name and version of your browser. That would be much appreciated.

Perhaps you might want to share the contact details/name of the web developer who designed your website as I really liked it. It is clean, neat, simple & relatable to what you offer.

As a full-time Front End Web Developer, I can honestly say whoever done your website should be proud. It's very, very nice. Your branding is spot on and the site is clean and very easy to use.

First impressions are it's easy on the eyes. Navigation is right there in front of me and follows me through my experience on the website. Checkout process seems very straight forward with everything in place and not overcomplicating everything.

Speed and performance seems top-notch, can't fault it!

However, How you can compete other SSL provider who sell Comodo Essential under $10/year ?

Since it's ssldragon as in one dragon, having several different colored dragons on your site surprises me. I thought you would want to stick to just one dragon, and possibly doing different things to still keep it interesting. With several different dragons I would think you guys would have changed your domain name to ssldragonS.com. Nice colors btw.
