Hello,

Can I get your opinion on this logo for a conglomerate technology company? :thankyou:

The first version is better but version 2 is making it more art if you can improve on 'P' character.
I would suggest to have a new version or style for "CHOP" in your logo.

Yes, definitely the "P" in version 2 needs work. If I fix that, would you like version 2 better? The idea was to create an effect to compliment the word chop.

I like version #1 myself. The text on the #2 logo looks like it might be a bit strange. I will say that the image/symbol that you used I really like a lot. I like things that look unique and are a little on the abstract side and it looks really cool.

It definitely looks like a symbol that would be used for a tech company. Even though it's a little on the simple side and not too elaborate, I think it's perfect and it is something that I would even use myself if I had a need for a logo.

The text might look a little more fitting with some kind of font that has some kind of curve to it like the symbol does but it's not needed.

I really like it and that includes the colors. :thumb:

The second logo looks much better. Just fix the 'P'. The name is 'chop', so having the words chopped up is perfect.

I get what you are going for with the second one but the line isn't ideal. I hope you don't mind...

I think that looks better if you want to have that kind of style.

Thanks for your help! I think I am just going to stick with version 1 because even in your version, the line under the "H" doesn't look good because it looks like two offset bars.

Logo design feedback from Seabit Media

I do agree at some point that version 1 is better since for the name stencil typeface is used which don't have good readability.Try font Code pro bold. Now coming to graphics and i don't want to be offensive here but i think the graphics looks more like a clip-art and needs improvements. But i respect different people have different preferences on designs.

Sorry for being late on responding to this but if I can ad a couple comments, you want to have a strong reason for using three colors. Many times logos stick to two colors. Also, putting a line through text doesn't seem to have any reason for it and it makes it harder to read. "internet" should probably be in blue since that also creates color balance. Hope this helps...

Version one is definitely cleaner. The only way I think the cut out can work is if you actually were to change the font.

I like both your versions, but having said that, I also like this version HostaPolis posted. With version 2, it's good, but I think some people might find it difficult to read at first. Good luck with your discussion.

I personally like the version #1, it has a nice and simple design, straight to the point logo. The version #2 is really confusing, the word CHOP got divide in the center horizontally, which makes the letter H to look like a two letter I. So for me version #1 is much better

I like the version 2 the chop part that has been slice on the middle is pretty cool but It needs more style on the last part on the chop the letter p because the letter almost gone and so bad in shape that's my opinion on your logo I hope I help you just a little.

Your first design is better, logo designs are more easy to remember when it looks cleaner. One of the main goals for a company logo is a way for your clients to easily remember your company. Just like a person you just met, even if you forgot the name of that person once you see it's image you will feel the familiarity just by looking at it. The same goes with logo designs.
