Hey there,

I want to order a windows based hosting which allows me to have a dynamic IP address for each time logins or change the IP address each time when I login into Remote Desktop Connection on Windows 7 system. Is it possible?
Is there an easy way around this?

Thanks

Perhaps, an easy way to change the server IP Address is to install a VPN on it. Then, after you are logged in you may switch to another IP address!

Usually hosting servers don't have dynamic IP addresses, it will cause a mess because the DNS registers have to be very accurate updated especially with a continue changing IP address.

Hey Ferdie

You cannot get a dedicated server that has a dynamic IP. Servers will always have a static IP address assigned to them.

If you can tell us what you are trying to do, we may be able to give you better advice.

Maybe this suits my requirement, please send the offers or guide me how to do this.

I want to buy a windows package to check it first.

you wont be allowed to do that on a dedicated server for the obvious reasons how ever the VPN idea is not so bad.
You would have to consider the speed of the VPN, the down times of the VPN as both will effect you.
Alternatively create your own private VPN with a good uplink.

Having a dynamic IP may be possible for a server but It is be nightmare for providers as It may cause ToS and other policy violations. Major issue that can occur would be spam.

Using VPN and other similar service will affect your connection to server quality and the traffic would be getting a big redirection in between.

So dynamic IP is simply neither viable nor recommended for any web hosting.
