Hey there,
I want to host a website having more than 500 visitors a day and more 3000 posts. I'm new to VPS and will need a managed VPS with good support so I can maintain my forum. Reliable uptime is necessary, US location, cPanel, RAM 6 or 8GB, budget $20 to $30.
Kindly suggest some vps providers according to your experience or PM me any offers.

Thanks

VPS with 6-8GB RAM
+ Fully Managed
+ cPanel

You are not going to find this for $20-$30/mo. IF you do, I would not trust their uptime or support. cPanel licence for a VPS costs ~$20/mo. Management is usually another $20, plus the cost of the VPS. 6-8GB of RAM is a large VPS. You can't even get that VPS for that cheap at Arvixe, and they are a low quality provider with horrible user reviews!

I'm afraid you will need to increase your budget or decrease your requirements.

I agree With What RDO Said... Better Why Dont you go for Dedicated Web-hosing Services Where you get peace of mind for management of server also you get unlimited resources

According to your budget, you should go with the Dedicated server and install a free Linux control panel called "centos-webpanel" to make it work.

I'm afraid you'd not find any managed reliable VPS within your budget, not even an unreliable provider would offer you such requirements at such price.

Hey Guys, what budget would you recommend with these specs?

I tried centos-webpanel but it is a free panel, doesn't have file manager or email configs for client software like outlook.

For a decent server, with a decent and reliable provider, your looking at about $75+/month
Fully managed would add $40-$100/month depending on the level of management.
cPanel for a dedicated server is $40/mo

If you go with a VPS, management would be closer to $20/mo and $15/mo for cPanel. Then about $30-75/mo for the VPS depending upon the resources you get.

The most important thing while choosing a VPS provider is performance and reliability. A virtual private server is essentially your own pc. Several hosts can have a restricted setup and you'll ought to assemble the vps to support an online web site. ZNetLive's VPS hosting comes with all the software system you'll ought to use your email and run your web site. I have been working with numerous hosting providers over the past few years. Some of them don't even deserve a mention but ZNetLive does. It is reliable, makes your website site and is more or less affordable.

I would check VPS offers on this forum https://forumweb.hosting/131-vps-hosting-offers

Found some good ones there and I think its a good place to start.

Good! now if you want I can recommend you a great VPS hosting but is going to be a challenge to find a vps with those specifications under $30 I think you should consider to increase your budget little bit more. I hope this can help you.

Why you recommend install centos web panel on a dedicated server, does it run well on a large resource like dedicated server?

I agree that under $30 is hard to select a good VPS but it can run as well for some websites.

No doubt you will have to use a Dedicated Server here. I would suggest you keep a budget of around 60-70$ for a decent server and another 30-35$ for Managed Services ( cPanel not included. Another 35$ for it ).

Alternatively, you can also try a higher configuration VPS from KnownHost. Go for their SSD plans with a minimum of 6GB ram. Also, their services scale quite smoothly so you can always add extra Ram depending upon your requirements.

If you plan to go for a dedicated server I will suggest you go for the following configuration

Intel Xeon E3v5
16GB Ram
4x1TB HDD with Raid 10

SSD's are pretty costly and I am unsure how much data you hold. You can also save around 50% of the cPanel license costs if you split the server into 2 VM's. 1 VM for the Webserver ( All your scripts, website files etc ) and 1 VM for the DB. The cPanel license would cost only 14$ then.

Many web host provides VPS hosting, but users have to select the best VPS provider for them by knowing some factors like managed support, performance hardware, no contract or hidden terms and conditions, free setup, 24X7 support team that can resolve customers issues whenever there arise any critical situation, etc.

Are you only looking for a vps/dedicated server? Since with a 500 visitors a day any shared hosting can work with your budget.

Hello

There are many providers who can provide server according to your requirements, in the costing you have mentioned and they will also provide managed vps server ( Cost varies according to Location ) by paying some minimal extra cost and it will be also in your budget.

Thanks

You won`t come to know about there service unless there is a downtime and thats the time when you will come to know how good support your cloud hosting provider provides.

I think reading customer reviews across the internet can be really helpful. Or just taking a few days trial from your hosting provider

You may try VPS deals from time-tested companies - hostingsource and qhoster.
They are reliable and low cost.
