Where does your web traffic come from?

What methods of online marketing do you find work best? I haven't explored all options yet, just SEO and SMM. I've been mainly relying on forum signature links and guest posting in the past which I don't think I'll try again.

Most of my traffic seems to come from those forum signatures and one of my sites is pulling a decent amount of google traffic lately. What about you? Where does your website traffic come from?

For online marketing, Facebook and Twitter ads can work well. Some Adwords and Bing advertising but its a tricky science.

I do related blog commenting and guest posting. Web 2.0 and niche directory submission.

I'm not big on forum signatures unless they are on a forum related to my niche.

What makes you say you don't think you'll try guest posting again?

Yeah I hear you.

For the same reason that I think niche backlinks work.

Because they are an editorial source which Google favors like social media sites, social bookmarking sites, wikis etc are.

But they have to be related to your niche. That's what counts today.

Most of my traffic comes from Reddit (unfortunately).

I get more referral traffic. A lot of it comes from kiinged.
