Why Responsive design gives SEO better on long run?Hello Dopani,
Mobile theme is no way good for SEO these days. Responsive design is the most preferable. Responsive design have sustainable SEO results on long run.
I agree with SenseiSteve on users' aspect but for SEO, mobile themes are not good as responsive design, right?Google now prefers responsive mobile themes as they're generally faster to download. There are responsive sites that look awful though, where mobile themes would be better suited. Mobile themes offer stuff like click to call and click for directions on the front facing menu.
All you've got to do to make your site "mobile ready" is to install a plugin. I use "WP Touch." It's really easy to use. If I remember correctly, I came across it because it was one of the Wordpress plugins recommended by Google back when people weren't sure how much having a mobile site would affect their rankings. The article listed a variety of blogging platforms and things you could install for each of them to make your site "mobile ready." Since I got it from there, it never occurred to me that some themes might suck. Can you guys share your thoughts between Mobile theme and responsive theme, which is better for SEO?
and why?
thanks in advance.
