That all depends on whether you are marketing a consumer market or B2B. For me
personally, when I am trying to target a more consumer based market, I head straight
to my twitter accounts. And when targeting B2B, LinkedIn, hands down, no questions
about it.

If you want more specific responses, could you tell us the market, or market type
you are attempting to target?

If you are looking for professional or business based traffic/leads then LinkedIn would probably be best.

If you are looking for regular consumers / clients for a product or service or doing some form of marketing to the general public, then definitely Twitter would be the best choice.

You can try both because it depends on the business. Its not always that if Twitter worked for others can also work for you and vice-versa.

So it is highly advisable to try both of them and then see the difference yourself.

I also prefer Twitter. Much easier to use and you can target much easier and faster.

That all depends on whether you are marketing a consumer market or B2B. For me
personally, when I am trying to target a more consumer based market, I head straight
to my twitter accounts. And when targeting B2B, LinkedIn, hands down, no questions
about it.

Do you mind sharing your twitter account i'm just curious to see what is posted there and how it's utilized. Maybe I can learn some new things.

LinkedIn and Twitter both have strong points. Use both :)
LinkedIn is a social network that is geared towards professionals and businesses.
LinkedIn also has many benefits that Twitter cannot match.

Here's an infographic about Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
I also think Techwyse does a good job comparing LinkedIn to Twitter.

It depends on your niche and target audience:

If you are targeting student community, facebook is the apt thing
If you are using professionals in a certain industry, linked in is the right thing
if you want consumer or celebrity based market, its twitter obviously

Hello
Have a wonderful day.

Thank you very much for this question. For generating huge traffic twitter is best. Twitter have a option after publishing tweet- there have retweet or like option. If you use any social media marketing platform for generating huge retweet than your website will show 1000+ twitter people profile and there traffic will come to your website. Linked in is a professional network. People love to share professional matter on the linked in platform. For traffic generation linked in have website sharing button within the post box. After that by social media marketing you can share your linked in post to 1000+ people profile and there traffic can come to your website.

1000 means within the social media marketing platform- application programming interface based system minimum order is 1000.

Thanks

Twitter is better IMO especially if your audience does not focus on professionals. There are tons of readers and visitors that are non-professionals in twitter that can help in your traffic.

You said true. There are huge peoples are waiting on twitter to visit your website which are non professional. They love to search and visit the website only upon interest based. Twitter is a micro blogging website where by publishing hashtag with website address can be give you huge traffic. Moreover twitter always make any website to twitter shorten link for SEO facility.

Thanks

Twitter is way too better for me when it comes to generating traffic. I am of the believe that Twitter has more participants than LinkedIn and it's very much easier to understand and operate.

I have a LinkedIn account but I'm not sure if I have logged into it for the past 5 months but I practically surf in my twitter account on daily basis. I believe that there are some people like me, we go twittering all day and not touch our LinkedIn.
