How can I drive traffic to my site using Facebook pages?

I had created a lot of Facebook pages hoping to generate traffic using this method but each time I posted I didn't see more reaches to my site

My question is, How can I drive traffic to my website using facebook pages? Does this require facebook ads or some skills?

Really need an explanation and all your advice is welcomed.

You need to increase the activity on your page. How many people like your page?

You'll need a good page following before you really start to notice an increase in website traffic. Try and promote your facebook page a bit more, keep at it though. Facebook as proven to be very successful for me in the past.

1st Point - Improve Your Facebook page traffic so Highlight your sites title for hag tag and best discription will be update and then paste your sites link.
2nd Point - Share Your Facebook page and many visiter likes and comment your sites and then improve your facebook page traffic.

Have you thought about building your list instead of directly driving traffic to your website? Offer incentives for people to opt-in to an email list.

Have a giveaway contest and make subscribing part of the entry process.

Don't underestimate the need for an email subscriber list. It can really change your business for the better!

Facebook has changed things around on the Fan Pages - because they want you to spend some money on their Paid Options.

It would take a good amount of work, effort and time to get free traffic to your websites from your Fan Pages.

What you need to do are simple things - but I highly recommend you to invest in your education here.

If you are going to be using Paid Ads, it is very important that you really invest in your education on this topic first - that way you can do things right, and get the results you are looking for.

But here are the simple things you need to be working on very consistently;

- Promote your Fan Page to Increase Likes Number
- Post valuable content very frequently (a few times a day)
- Learn how to Influence People
- Encourage People to Like, Comment, and Share
- Interact with your Fans
- Boost your Posts (paid options)

And things like that!

I mean, there are not many things you can do on your fan page - if your really think about it!

Do everything here, very consistently, and add up the numbers!

Soon you will be able to get some good traffic to your site from your fan page.

It works, but only if YOU work!

Yeah as FreedomBlogger has said, Facebook limit how much you post show to your fans in their feeds because they want you to pay for the privilege.

They used to show everything you posted to them but now they limit your reach.

You need to have a LOT of fans to get any kind of decent traffic back from your posts to those Pages. I think they limit your reach to about 12%!

"by default, its automatically set to ONLY SHOW POSTS FROM PEOPLE WHO YOU'VE RECENTLY INTERACTED WITH OR INTERACTED WITH THE MOST"

So if you had 100k fans, only 25k of them would actually see your updates in their timeline. Then you have to factor how many of them would be interested in it. Call it another half.

Then you have to factor how many of those that are interested in that update would actually click on it. Call it another half.

So out of 100k fans, only around 5-10k of them would actually see your updates in their timeline.

Facebook made sure that if you want to get the full reach you have to pay for that. But that can end up VERY VERY expensive in the long run!

And if you're not making any ROI from your posts then you're not making that money back and could actually end up running at a loss!

For this reason, a lot of people having given up using Facebook pages to drive traffic to their sites.

You're better off finding Pages that are the same as yours and engaging their fans by commenting on their updates and posting your own (where allowed).

So in other words, for both business and personal pages, unless your friends/fans commented on one of your posts within those few weeks or vice versa - you are now invisible to them and they are invisible to you!
