Hello everyone,

My name is Jim Takacs and I am a new member here to this forum. First off I am glad I found this place because this definitely looks like the right place with knowledgeable marketers that can help me with deciding on this opportunity. The reason why I chose this particular opportunity was to use the income to build for my main niche. So the idea is simple. In my opinion, it's not a bad idea at all if it really works. They designed a website that supposedly funnels $5 payments (technically) $4.99 into your paypal account. You pay the $4.99 and of course you get the same site with your name to advertise and I guess when people pay through your site you get paid $4.99. They also say you get paid on various levels with this product. Heres how it work's. When you join, you will receive payment 1 from your down liners, then the person who put you in will get #2 then you get 3,4 and if there is another sponsor over your sponsor he gets payment number 5 otherwise it comes back to you and it cycles like that to infinity. Sounds good right? So I bought it and I'm using free advertising techniques so far because I'm not sure if this works or not. I'm wondering if there's something in the source of the website that brings the buyers to the original person, not us. I read the rules here so I know I can't post the site now, but I'm hoping I can find someone to take a look at this, maybe view the source and see if there is something there that changes from my paypal address to the original creator's paypal address or something to that regard.

Hi Jim. What bothers me about this opportunity is that everyone has the same identical website, so I'm assuming that basically it sounds a lot like a pyramid where you keep having to find new people and you get paid on their down lines as well. Although in theory this can work but the price is so small it would take a lot of people each month to make a good living.

I understand that I may not know all the facts of the business so therefore what I'm saying may not be exactly accurate. My opinion is that you should select a niche you are interested in and build a business around that. The time you spend trying to get people to signup could be put to use building a business that will last you a lifetime.

Having said that, if you are excited about this type of work then put your heart and soul into it and try to build a business out of it. I will say this (my soapbox) People online are looking for a way to solve a problem or learn more about their hobby, etc. Find those people and you will make plenty of money. Good Luck no matter what you decide!

Hey,

It's the oldest trick in the book, and all you gotta do is market it the same way that the person you bought it from did. Back in the day I did a study, I put an advertisement in the newspaper that read "Learn how to make $500 a day from home with little to no work needed. Send $20 to [PO BOX] and receive an instructional package. 100% guaranteed to make you money." Then, once a week I would check the mailbox, and respond to those who paid with a note that read "Put an advertisement in the newspaper just as I did except with your address". I made a lot of money doing so, however people have now caught on in these days with the way that these theoretical scams work.

Yeah, you got lucky. Pyramid scheme through and through. The first couple of people rake it in, whilst the underlings make nothing. Defintely could have been worse, people have been scammed hundreds of dollars with these things.

So just to confirm with this scam, the website they give me that I advertise with, the payments somehow go directly to the scammer, never to me?

Sort of, yeah. I'm sure (if it's a serious pyramid game) you'll get some (small) revenue from it eventually - but it's not worth it. It's time consuming and really not considered serious business anywhere. What's intriguing about it however is that most people who are part of these "companies" will never admit to them being a pyramid scheme, and will come up with the most ridicilous excuses for it!

Yeah, I'd back out if I were you!

No the payments will go to you but not in sufficient number to make it worthwhile as the scheme will soon saturate and nobody makes any money.

Now there are long running systems like this that have stood the test of time, but they involve both promoting the system and promoting other products as well.

There has to be income creation outwith the scheme for the scheme to succeed. If the income is simply from promoting the scheme itself it would be illegal in most countries. As an anology look at many party plan companies. The structure pays over rides on the sales of the party organisers. The people who actually purchase the products are the customers. If there are no retail sales there is no real business and you should run for the hills.

This kind of website will just burn your money out (also others money out). It will comes to situation where it's already "saturated". Mostly the first time you see this site is the "saturated" time already. So, leave this kind of website & no turning back. Save your money for another better opportunities.
